[IEV number 314-07-06]EN
class index (of an energy meter)
number which gives the limits of the absolute value of the permissible relative error, expressed in percent, within a specified range of values for the current, for unity power factor (and in the case of polyphase meters with balanced loads) when the meter is tested under reference conditions (including the permitted tolerances on the reference values)

13 adjusted time

adjusted time
Percentage factor is assigned to each class. For example, within the visually impaired category, the class for totally blind skiers (B1) may have a factor of 0.65; in the same race, the class with a lesser visual impairment (B3) has a factor of 1. This means the B1 skier needs to ski 65% faster than the B3 skier in the same race to be ranked equal in the competition. The athlete in each class or group of classes with the fastest adjusted time is awarded a gold medal.
